It’s been a while.
In the time since I last wrote publicly, life happened. The big one: I became a father. And if you’ve been there, you know it has a way of rearranging everything. Your priorities. Your sleep. Your entire relationship with time itself.
Writing took a back seat. Not because I stopped thinking about things worth sharing, but because the quiet hours I used to spend at a keyboard got filled with bottles, nappies, and the kind of exhausted joy that’s hard to explain until you’re in it.
I’ve missed this, though.
Not the performative side of it. Not the metrics or the reach or whatever we’re supposed to care about these days. I’ve missed putting half-formed thoughts into words and seeing if they hold up. Sharing something and maybe having it resonate with someone else who’s figuring things out too.
So here I am again.
No grand declarations. No promises about posting schedules or content strategies. Just a quiet hello and a note to myself as much as anyone: I’m back.
I don’t know exactly what this space will become. Probably some mix of engineering thoughts, observations about building things, and whatever else I’m turning over in my head. We’ll see.
